Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner

Philip Seccombe, recently visited 121 Squadron to give the cadets an insight into his career and his role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire.

Philip explained that, as Police and Crime Commissioner, his key priorities are to ensure that police are properly equipped, trained and motivated to protect the public and bring offenders to justice, while maintaining high visibility among local communities and strong support for victims of crime.

He also highlighted his own very strong connections with the military and cadet forces having served with the Territorial Army for 25 years, commanding his Regiment and reaching the rank of Colonel. He still maintains his military connections, as chairman of the West Midlands Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association and chairman of the Warwickshire Army Benevolent Fund.

On behalf of the whole Squadron we would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to Mr Philip Seccombe for visiting the Squadron and his very interesting talk
