Tombola & Recruiting Stall in Nuneaton Town Centre

The weather on Saturday 15th December was kind to the Civilian Committee of the Nuneaton based Air Cadets as they encouraged the good people of Nuneaton to part with their hard earned coppers to support the activities of the Squadron.

The Squadrons Tombola which was located on the Nuneaton Town Centre Market Place Charity Stall helped to exchange all of the donated bric-a-brac and unwanted items into cash.

Cadet Flt Sgt Connor Little the Flt Lt Paul Hincks also joined the Civilian Committee on the stall and spent the day talking to potential recruits.

The Squadrons Civilian Committee Chairman, Mr Len Hardy, Said, Thanks to the kind support of the people of Nuneaton, we have managed to turn all the items that had been generously donated to the Squadron into a creditable £230.90. I would take the opportunity to thank my fellow committee members for braving the cold and running the Tombola and I would also like to thank Connor and the CO for joining us to run the recruiting side of things.”

He added, “It would be nice to see More Cadets supporting these activities, maybe next time?”
