Some of you may already know that the 121 Squadron Mini Bus was involved in a road traffic collision on the M6 several weeks ago when returning from the Wing Field Day.
Thankfully, none of the Cadets or Staff who were in the bus at the time sustained any injury, however the Mini Bus itself has now been Written-Off.
This as you can imagine has come as a totally unexpected blow to the Squadron and the amount currently being offered by the insurers is not expected to be sufficient to cover the cost of a comparable replacement.
The Squadron relies heavily on our Mini Bus in order to enable us to continue to provide activities for our cadets and its loss is set to seriously impact on our ability to get our cadets to forthcoming activities and events.
As such the Squadron is holding various sponsored events in order to raise the money required to replace our Mini Bus. The first such event being the "PAY FOR PAIN" whereby SNCO's and Officers are having their legs waxed. The cadets have all been issued with sponsorship forms for this one, so if you know one of our current cadets and would like to help please help them to get as much sponsorship as you can.
We are also appealing to former cadets and friends of the Squadron or anyone else who may be willing to make a donation to our Mini Bus replacement fund to come forward in order to help to get 121 Squadron “Back On The Road”.
