Due to a major refurbishment of our Headquarters the 121 Squadron will be parading at the Mary Ann Evans Hospice.
The refurbishment is scheduled to take approximately 10 weeks. During this time the unit will be unable to hold it's meetings at the Ribbonfields site. In order to avoid closing down for the period of the work, arrangements have been made for the Squadrons parades to be held at the Mary Ann Evans Hospice on the George Eliot Hospital site.
The Squadron will be parading at the hospice on Tuesday and Friday nights between 19:30 ~ 21:45 hrs starting on Friday 11 th February.
Flt Lt Ian Crew Officer Commanding 121 Squadron said, " We are most grateful to the hospice for allowing us to use their buildings during the refurbishment." "This temporary relocation is no doubt going to make things very difficult for us but I am confident that the cadets and staff will all work together to make sure that the Squadron continues to function effectively." "It's going to be inconvenient but I'm certain it'll be worth all the hassle when we move back into our own fully revamped buildings."
"If you're thinking of joining the Air Cadets don't let this temporary move put you off, we'll still be taking in new starters."
