Going all the way to the Regional Field Day

Nuneaton based Royal Air Force Air Cadets joined forces with teams from other squadrons within the Warwickshire and Birmingham area to compete against five other wing teams at the Central and East Regional field day at Royal Air Force Wittering on Sunday 8th October.

The Squadron’s Percussion Section put on an outstanding performance in the band competition, they didn’t win, but I was so proud of every single one of them. They were so smart and gave it everything they could and I couldn’t ask any more of them than that.

121 Squadron also took 1st place in the Staff and 2nd in the Cadet photographic competitions and 1st place in the Cadet Media Competition, thus adding lots of lovely points to the wing’s total score helping to put Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing in overall 3rd place in this year’s Regional Field Day competition. I would also take this opportunity to thank Civilian Committee member Mike Waudby for giving up his time and driving the SOV, so very much appreciated.
