The 2012 Nuneaton Poppy Appeal will be officially launched during a ceremony in the Nuneaton Market Place on Saturday, 27th October at 11:00 hrs
The Nuneaton & Stockingford Branch of the Royal British Legion and Ex-service Association standard bearers will be on parade at the Nuneaton Town Hall at 10:30am accompanied by the Air Cadets from 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron Air Training Corps.
The Mayor, Cllr John Haynes, and representatives from 30 Signal Regiment will also be present.
There will be a minutes silence in between the Last Post and Reveille before the Nuneaton Poppy Appeal gets underway.
The Appeal runs from 27 October 2011 to 10 November 2012.
Poppies will be available at various locations around the town. The Poppy Shop in the Rope Walk Shopping Centre is on the first floor bridge, opposite British Homes Stores near to the entrance of the car park.

All ex-service personnel, serving members of the armed forces and especially the people of Nuneaton are urged to come along and give their support to the Launch of the 2012 Poppy Appeal.
