Cadets and staff from 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron have just returned from a weekend on board HMS Bristol, The Royal Navy's Cadet Training ship, based at the Portsmouth Naval Base.

Cadets visited HMS Victory the Royal Navy's Flagship, the Royal Marines Museum , The Submarine Museum and Fort Nelson .  They also has the opportunity to use a Navy tug boat for a harbour tour and were fortunate to see all 3 of the Royal Navy's Aircraft Carriers . HMS Ark Royal, HMS Illustrious ( featured on current TV series Warship) & in mothballs HMS Invincible as all 3 were in dock at the same time.

An enjoyable weekend and once again many compliments were paid when they marched around the part of Portsmouth Dockyard open to the public.

The Camp Commandant Sqn Ldr Bryan Coats said "  Another enjoyable weekend, and we were able to show the light blue footprint in places that it is not normally seen.  The cadets were a credit to themselves and again were excellent ambassadors for the Wing.  Planning is already in place for the next camp in August "
