The cadets and staff of 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron Air Training Corps recently bid farewell to their chaplain during a public service at St James Church in Bulkington.

The Rev Andrew Wadsworth, who has been the Squadrons chaplain for eight years, is leaving the area to take up a new post at St Wilfrid's in Bognor Regis. .

To mark the occasion the Squadrons band, much to the delight of the large congregation, played a selection of traditional tunes and members of Squadron also delivered the readings.

Flight Lieutenant Ian Crewe Officer Commanding 121 Squadron said "Father Andrew has served as Squadron chaplain for many years, regularly taking groups of cadets for citizenship training. This service has been a fantastic opportunity for us to show our appreciation of his support and we wish him well in his new post."
