A fine morning for a run

On Sunday 21st February 2016, Air Cadets Shaun Hadley and Daniel Humpage from 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron joined Cadets from other Squadrons from across the Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing as they descended on Bishop Walsh School in Sutton Coldfield for the Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing Cross Country Championships.

The day started out cold but as the competition got underway things soon warmed up with cadets Shaun Hadley and Daniel Humpage from 121 Squadron’s senior team putting in some enthusiastic performances.

Flight Lieutenant Paul Hincks Officer Commanding 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron said, “Unfortunately despite all the valiant efforts of Shaun and Daniel, 121 Squadron didn't manage to come home with any silverware this year but that wasn't for the want of trying. Maximum Respect to Shaun and Daniel who gave the opposition a good run for their money, hopefully their valiant efforts will act as an example to the rest on the Squadron, perhaps we could get more cadets to take part next year."
