Cross Country Team Brave the Elements

Maximum Respect to those members of 121 Squadron who braved the appalling weather conditions at Kenilworth Rugby Club during the Wing Cross Country on Sunday 22 February.

As forecast, it literally threw it down all afternoon turning the course into a mud-bath.

However despite the driving rain, wind, mud and cold; cadets Cameron Steele, Sophie Cartwright, Paige Eaves, Cpl Atlanta Curless and FS Connor Little rose to the challenge and did their very best for their Squadron.

True to say that we didn’t break any course records or win any trophies but our small team of five turned up and gave it their very best in spite of the conditions and everything the weather could throw at them.

Maximum Respect to all of you and I hope it didn’t take too long to thaw-out once you got home.
