Nuneaton based Royal Air Force Air Cadets answered the call to do something crazy in support of the 2016 BBC Children In Need appeal and they don’t come any crazier than Minions.
Determined to do their bit to help raise money for those less fortunate than themselves, the Air Cadets from 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron hung up their RAF uniforms and dressed up as Minions for their very own Children in Need Quiz Night.
Cdt Cpl Holly Farmer and Cdt Cpl Paige Eaves who organised the Nuneaton Air Cadet Minions Quiz Night, said, The cadets were determined to do something for Children in Need and we think we all had a fantastic time as well as raising some much needed cash. Everybody entered into the spirit of the event, some even made a good job of dressing up in some really ridiculous Minion costumes and the Quiz definitely got some of the grey matter working hard.
We managed to raise £21 on the night, we know it doesn't sound very much in the grand scheme of things but every little helps and this is our way of showing that we care. You've only got to see some of those Children in Need television reports about the children suffering to realise that our £21 could provide something that would help to improve things for them.
