The Band of 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron Air Training Corps fell in behind 'Allo 'Allo star Officer Crabtree for the Nuneaton Carnival Procession which took place on Saturday 17 June.
Just when he thought he'd seen the last of those troublesome British Airman he found himself being followed by the next generation of British Airman.
Officer Crabtree aka Arthur Bostrom who played the part of the British agent disguised as a French speaking policeman or as he would say " disgeesed as a Fronch spooking poloceman" in the hit comedy TV show 'Allo 'Allo was the special guest at this years Carnival.
The 121 Squadron band joined other community groups, decorated floats and bands as they made their way through the flag lined streets. Thousands of onlookers were treated to the Squadrons renditions of many traditional marches and wartime favourites, which was quite appropriate considering the connection with the wartime comedy exploits of the special guest Officer Crabtree.
Flight Lieutenant Ian Crewe Officer Commanding 121 Squadron said "The band did a fantastic job. It's not easy marching through the streets in a carnival procession that keeps stopping and starting. Every cadet should be justly proud of his or her performance.
