The Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire Mr Timothy Cox will be formally presenting the new Standard to the Squadron during a special event to mark the 75th Anniversary of 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron on Friday the 9th May 2014.
Flight Lieutenant Paul Hincks Officer Commanding 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron said, “On behalf of the whole Squadron I would like to thank the Rotary Club of Nuneaton for their generous donation towards our new Standard. The Squadron’s current Standard was presented to us by the late Wing Commander Tom Bussey almost 30 years ago. We are still immensely proud of it, however, it has now started to show its age and as such to mark our 75th Anniversary we thought it was time to replace it. We are absolutely delighted with the new Standard and hope that as many former colleagues and friends of the Squadron will be able to join us for the Formal Squadron Standard presentation and Dinner to mark our 75th Anniversary
Tickets for the Squadron’s 75th Anniversary Dinner to be held at the Ambleside Community Sports Club (CV11 6AT) on 9th May 2014 are now available at £20
